Eric Ramirez is a 2014 1B/OF with a 6-0 200 lb. frame from Oxnard, CA who attends Rio Mesa HS. Large mature build, good present strength. Very good defensive first baseman, outstanding picks, smooth quick hands and good balance. Left handed hitter, crouched stance, aggressive swing, gets to his front side early, long and loose swing, has some bat speed with good strength at contact when pulling, shows plate coverage and will go the opposite way, mature hitter with an idea what he's doing. Good student.
