Jori Rodriguez is a 2014 SS/2B with a 6-0 160 lb. frame from Homestead, FL who attends South Dade Senior. Medium, lean, highly athletic build with room to fill out. Ran a 6.62 60 yard dash. Bats right-handed, works from a slightly open setup and carries his hands high. Has an aggressive approach and is fluid with his hands. Flashes good bat speed and projects for additional power. Uses a high leg kick trigger. Hits line drives to the middle of the field. Shows solid arm strength across the diamond and hands work very well. Attacks the ball and throws on the run. Also took the mound, reaches 83 mph with his fastball from a high three-quarter arm slot. Hides the ball with short arm action. Shows arm side run and velocity plays up. Also mixes 68 mph curveball with 11-5 rotation. Interesting two way talent. Excellent student. Named to Top Prospect List.
