Robert Evans is a 2015 RHP/SS with a 6-2 185 lb. frame from Frisco, TX who attends Liberty HS. Tall slender athletic build, lots of room to get stronger. Rotational delivery with a very long arm action in back, 3/4's to mid 3/4's arm action, loose arm coming through, tends to spin over front side on release. Upper 80's fastball, topped out at 90 mph, big arm side running action at times. Will flash big 11/5 depth and hard spin on his curveball at times, tends to drop arm slot and release on breaking ball and will get around curveball frequently for a sweeping slider like break, can improve balance and ability to repeat his mechanics. Excellent student.
