Matt Stumme is a 2013 C/ with a 6-1 165 lb. frame from Yorba Linda, CA who attends Orange Lutheran. Stumme has a medium sized frame with a lean lanky build. Defensively he has good footwork on his pop throws behind the plate with some catch and throw skills. He has solid transfers and stays balanced and under control on his pop throws. At the plate, Stumme stays tall on his backside through his swing and has a simple swing. He generates some bat speed and gets some extension at times in his swing. Has line drive pop. Outstanding student.
