Hayden Guidry is a 2013 RHP with a 6-2 185 lb. frame from Orange, TX who attends Bridge City HS. Nice athletic build, loose and projectable with some present strength. Balanced delivery, compact quick arm action, good extention out front, over the top release point, arm works well and ball comes out easy and low effort. Upper 80's fastball, topped at 89 mph, mostly straight, curveball shows tight spin and good 2 plane shape, could get more velocity on curveball, throws strikes with both pitches and has an idea. No question going to throw low 90's in the future, continuing development of off speed pitches is key to overall package. Top prospect. Good student.
