Drew Gooch is a 2014 LHP/1B with a 5-9 175 lb. frame from Argyle, TX who attends Argyle HS. Smaller compact build, some present strength. Leg raise delivery with some backwards lean, high 3/4's slot, throws downhill, some effort on release, has deception. Fastball to 86 mph, lots of fastball velocity variance, good fastball life at times, nice feel for change up, still developing spin/feel for curveball, throws all pitches for strikes and mixes. Good student.
