Leandro Pena is a 2014 C/ with a 5-11 190 lb. frame from Yonkers, NY who attends Sacred Heart. Medium, strong build, well proportioned and mature. Ran a 7.95 60 yard dash. Looks the part behind the plate, shows good carry on his throws. Stiff actions need improvement, gets rid of the ball quickly. Arm strength still developing. Right-handed batter, hits from a wide base. Loose, fluid swing path and flashes some power. Knows how to use the opposite field, goes with off-speed pitches well. Good student.
