Mitch Schallenberg is a 2015 OF/3B with a 6-1 160 lb. frame from Austin, TX who attends Westwood HS. Tall slender build, minimal present strength. Left handed hitter, leg raise trigger, foot gets down late, line drive swing plane, loose extension out front, mostly opposite field contact, would benefit from additional strength. 7.43 runner, loose athletic actions in the outfield, smooth arm action, shows arm strength when footwork comes together, would be interesting to see on the mound. Gaining strength is the key as athleticism is there. Good student.
