Parke Phillips is a 2016 C/UT with a 5-11 170 lb. frame from Nokomis, FL who attends Out-Of-Door Academy. Medium athletic build, some present strength with more to come. Right handed hitter, uses lower half well in swing, keeps hands short and quick to the ball and accelerates to contact, gets hands too inside at times and jams self but showed the ability to get the barrel out and pull the ball with authority. Projectable hitting tools. 7.21 runner, has quickness and athleticism behind the plate, can improve footwork throwing, tends to stand up and throw and not gain ground with his lower half, 1.99 best pop time in drills, 2.09 in game. Young athletic catcher who should keep improving. Good student.
