Robert Scott is a 2017 SS with a 5-10 135 lb. frame from Longwood, FL who attends Lyman HS. Tall and slender build, looks stronger and bigger than listed. Right handed hitter, quick loose swing, very sound hitting mechanics, moves through the ball well with an aggressive line drive swing, squares up the ball really well and hits to all fields, projectable hitting tools with present skills. 7.06 runner, showed his athleticism on defense, has foot quickness and charges the ball well, full loose arm action with developing arm strength. Also pitched, fast paced cross body delivery with a high leg raise start, 3/4's arm slot, young overall mechanics and repeatability. Fastball topped out at 80 mph, mostly straight with occasional arm side running action. Soft curveball shows good depth at times. Good student. Named to the Showcase All Prospect Team.
