Austin Weiermiller is a 2017 LHP/OF with a 5-11 165 lb. frame from Milton, GA who attends Cambridge HS. Compact athletic build, has some present strength. Compact arm action with a mid-3/4's arm slot, medium energy in his release, gets over is front side well, creates some angle to the plate with arm slot. Upper 80's fastball, topped out at 89 mph, good arm side running life. Slider is a solid pitch with sharpness and good angle to the plate. Developing change up that will need to become a factor if he remains a starter. Excellent student, verbal commitment to Stanford.
