Andrew Rosenzweig is a 2014 LHP/1B with a 6-1 175 lb. frame from Orinda, CA who attends Miramonte HS. Solid athletic build, good frame with some present strength. Very slow paced delivery with a big pause at the top, unusual pitching mechanics, deceptive but lacks rhythm, over the top arm slot, throws downhill but hard on front leg. Fastball to 81 mph, mostly straight, curveball shows good spin and shape at times, has feel and throws curveball for strikes more than fastball, change up will sink and cut at times. More in his arm with adjustments. Left handed hitter, square stance, has some strength and lift in swing, rotational swing from a narrow base, quiet approach. Outstanding student with Ivy League ambitions.
