Brett Davis is a 2016 C/3B with a 5-10 175 lb. frame from Manhattan Beach, CA who attends Mira Costa HS. Compactly built, solid athlete. Displays good flexibility and agility in the field. Primary catcher, gains ground well with solid footwork, good fundamentals, very good defensive potential. Best pop time 1.95. Also showed some skills on the infield, soft hands and solid actions with good instincts. Right handed hitter, slight open stance. Shows feel for the barrel, approach a bit pull-oriented, shows ability to square up balls consistently. Projects well in all aspects. Very good student.
