2014 Pitcher/Catcher Indoor Showcase
Christian Solinski is a 2014 C/3B with a 5-11 175 lb. frame from Barrington, IL who attends Barrington HS. Medium athletic build, some present strength. Right handed hitter, spread square stance, simple toe tap trigger, long aggressive swing, will get off balance and out front at times, swings hard and creates some bat speed, shows power potential on contact, ball comes off the barrel well. Low set up behind the plate, flexible lower half, good footwork and shifting while blocking, soft hands, good overall mobility, will need to work on throwing. Good student.
