Vito Tambasco is a 2015 RHP/3B with a 6-1 175 lb. frame from Spring Hill, FL who attends Nature Coast Technical HS. Tall, athletic, proportioned build. Ran a 7.00 60 yard dash. Pitches from an over the top arm slot and gets downhill consistent. Tops at 85 mph and mixes an 11-5 curveball with good depth at 72 mph. Has more velocity coming on his fastball. Gets to glove side and commands well. Works quickly and keeps hitters off balance. Peppers the outside corner with intent. Will use his changeup right on right with confidence at 74 mph. Deep arsenal of weapons with a feel for pitching. Bats right-handed, works from a simple setup and uses a pull side approach. Gets long at times and shows good barrel accuracy. Uses a leg lift trigger and flashes pull side lift. Has solid arm strength across the infield and makes accurate throws. Attacks the ball and hands work well. Solid two-way talent.
