Peter Hutzal is a 2016 MIF/C/RHP with a 5-11 175 lb. frame from Calgary, AB who attends Bishop Carroll HS. Medium athletic build with good present strength. Left handed hitter, open stance and tends to stay open with his front side, pull approach with good present bat speed and strength at contact, sees the ball well and attacks, can drive the ball hard when squared up, will need to make adjustments to avoid pulling off the ball. Athletic infield actions with good footwork and balance, 7.08 runner, good arm strength with a quick release, made all the game plays smoothly and with confidence, has soft hands and good athleticism defensively, has also caught in the past. Showed potential on the mound, loose easy arm action with arm speed, mid-80's fastball with late hard running action.
