2013 California Underclass Showcase
Jonathan Phelps is a 2016 C/OF with a 5-8 146 lb. frame from Los Angeles, CA who attends Loyola. Smaller, young build with a lot of room to fill out. Ran a 7.41 60 yard dash. Still learning behind the plate, but has good hands and a short, compact arm action. Arm strength is still developing from the outfield. Bats right-handed, works from an even, narrow stance. Hits off his back leg and has some lift in his swing. Will improve at the plate with added strength. Very good student.
