Ethan Copeland is a 2016 2B/SS with a 5-8 135 lb. frame from Cedar Rapids, IA who attends Prairie HS. Smaller young build, minimal present strength. Right handed hitter, square stance with a high hand set, busy load, rotational swing and tends to step open on swing, has good hand quickness and gets the barrel into the zone, spray line drive contact, mostly mid to opposite field contact, should continue to improve with additional strength. 7.31 runner, moves well on defense, good footwork, low 3/4's arm angle, accurate throws, may want to consider using a smaller glove to improve hands at the ball. Good student.
