Austin Woyt is a 2014 RHP/OF with a 6-0 184 lb. frame from Kingwood, TX who attends Kingwood HS. Medium athletic build with some present strength and room for more. Effort delivery with a long extended arm action in back, stays balanced and on line to the plate, 3/4's release, repeats well due to athleticism but has some deception and funk. Fastball to 88 mph, adds and subtracts fastball velocity with intent, hard tailing action at times. Good spin and bite to mid 70's curveball, good power and solid secondary pitch. Throws strikes and has an idea. 6.96 runner, showed very good outfield arm strength and moved well to the ball, can improve accuracy. Right handed hitter. leans forward into contact, aggressive swing with power approach, tends to hit around the ball, all or nothing approach but showed power when squared. Solid overall athlete with a good arm and some feel for playing.
