Sean Madden is a 6'5" 175 pound 2007 right handed pitcher, infielder, and outfielder from Durham, North Carolina who attends Charles E Jordan High School. He has a big frame and an athletic tone that has room for added strength. He has a very good delivery that is very smooth. His fastball topped out at 75 mph, his breaking ball at 68 mph, and his chenge up at 70 mph. His curveball should end up being a plus pitch that already has good spin and bite to it. His velocity will increase as he matures physically. Sean worked out at first base and showed good actions. He has plus range and good developing footwork. At the plate, he has a simple approach with good balance and average hitting skills. He doesn’t use a load or trigger and more power will come with better use of his lower half. Sean is a good follow who is also an excellent student as well with a 4.1 gpa.
