Albert Neff is a 2014 RHP/OF with a 6-2 185 lb. frame from Deltona, FL who attends Pine Ridge HS. Medium athletic build, room to get stronger. Short compact arm action with over the top release, hides ball well and has deception, deliberate pace on the mound. Fastball topped out at 83 mph, have seen frequently at 85-86 over the last year, mostly straight. Primary off speed pitcher, throws two types of breaking balls. Harder one has a sharp 10/4 slider break at 75 mph, softer breaking ball has more 12/6 curveball action with late biting action. Has confidence in breaking stuff and throws it for strikes, good feel for location and shape. Type of pitcher who can pick up strike outs one time through an order at the next level.
