Stephen Morgioni is a 2016 LHP/OF, 1B with a 5-10 150 lb. frame from Winter Springs, FL who attends Winter Springs. Medium athletic frame with excellent physical projection. Athletic, simple delivery on the mound. Quick step into motion, leg kick with slight coil, drives toward plate with arm well in sync. Longer arm action with a bit off stiffness up to high 3/4 slot, creates good angle. FB worked 79-82 with good life to the arm side. Flashed quality 1/7 CB with good depth and shape, pitch projects well long term. Did a good job of pounding the zone with both pitches and was able to generate weak contact on the FB when located down in the zone. Projects well overall. Good student.
