Micah Miniard is a 2014 RHP/OF with a 6-7 200 lb. frame from Danville, KY who attends Boyle County HS. Extra long and tall frame, very projectable physically. Tall delivery with a short stride, long arm action with good extension out front, stays on line and throws downhill, deliberate pace, can lengthen stride. Low 90's fastball, mostly straight but with good plane, topped out at 92 mph, more velocity in there with additional strength. Slider is very good second pitch with big depth at times and hard late bite. Very slow to the plate out of the stretch and tends to lose velocity, product of size and growing into his coordination, will have to adjust in the future. High ceiling talent with a big arm and two present pitches. Good student.
