Allen Shad is a 2016 OF with a 5-10 175 lb. frame from Peachtree City, GA who attends Starrs Mill HS. Medium athletic build, has some present strength with room for more. 6.73 runner, gets good jumps in the outfield with a quick first step and shows nice range, athletic actions, on line accurate throws, centerfield tools on defense. Left handed hitter, starts with a closed front side that opens early, rotational swing with a high finish, has good raw bat speed, works the middle of the field and to the gaps, has some projection as a hitter. Solid all around player with premium defensive ability and top of the order hitting tools. Good student.
