Angel Tiburcio is a 2018 1B/RHP with a 6-3 210 lb. frame from Wellington, FL who attends Trinity Christian Academy. Big and strong athletic build, pretty mature physically. Primary first baseman, graded out much higher as a right handed pitcher at this event. Compact arm stroke in back, creates good angle to the plate, medium effort on release. Low 90's fastball, topped out at 92, mostly straight, throws strikes with his fastball. Slider was a very effective pitch, hitters didn't see it, shows sharpness and tightness. 7.08 runner. Right handed hitter, rotational swing, upper half gets out in front of his lower half, downward swing plane, have seen a different swing in the past with big power potential. Good student, verbal commitment to Florida International.
