Sean Lopez is a 2015 SS/RHP/2B with a 5-9 160 lb. frame from Royse City, TX who attends Royse City HS. Shorter compact build with some present strength. 7.05 runner, polished defensive actions in the middle of the field, good foot quickness and shows range, especially to his left, charges the ball and works through it with soft hands, throws have enough carry, everything smooth and confident defensively. Right handed hitter, patient approach from an open stance, short line drive swing, shows some hand quickness at times and can accelerate the barrel, hitting tools to improve with additional strength. Also pitched, over the top arm slot with upper body lean to let his arm through, different arm action than in the field, fastball topped at 78 mph, soft curveball with some 11/5 depth. Defense will carry him. Good student.
