Jeremy Gaines is a 2016 OF/ with a 5-8 150 lb. frame from Oak Park, IL who attends Oak Park & River Forest. Has a medium compact frame with an athletic build and room to fill out. Has good arm strength in the outfield, attacks the ball has good carry on his throws and has a good crow hop. Shows good footwork with a quick first step and covers a lot of ground. Has good lateral movement in the infield with good soft hands, good footwork and a smooth glove. Is a good contact hitter at the plate with a sound approach. Has quick hands with good bat speed, has a nice level swing, is a lead-off hitter. Is a very good student.
