Taylor Morgan is a 2017 RHP/OF with a 6-1 175 lb. frame from Missouri City, TX who attends Ridgepoint HS. Very nice athletic frame for his age, has some present strength with more to come, huge feet and big growth potential. Two-way prospect. Young mechanics with limited present ability to repeat his delivery, arm is very fast and loose from a 3/4's arm slot. Fastball topped at 87 mph with lots of hard tailing life, plus life at times. Slider had big depth and frisbee action as well, two potential plus pitches. High ceiling pitching talent who still needs lots of repetitions and coaching. Right handed hitter, big upper cut swing, looks to pull and lift, has present bat speed and raw power, swing plane and effort will minimize contact at present but talent there. Big outfield arm strength, lots of arm whip, 92 mph from a freshman very unusual. Big-time athlete with lots of time to develop with patience and hard work.
