Kevin Gomez is a 2017 2B with a 5-7 145 lb. frame from Las Piedras, PR who attends International Baseball Academy. Slender young build, square shoulders. 7.51 runner, has nice fundamentals on defense, clean and balanced at the ball with good hands, works through it well with proper footwork, makes accurate throws with developing arm strength. Right handed hitter, straight stance, same strong fundamental base in his swing as in his defense, stays short and direct to the ball, line drive contact to all fields. Will benefit moving forward from more strength but is a sound young player. Very good student.
