Bryan Benz is a 2014 1B/2B, 3B with a 6-1 185 lb. frame from Arlington, TX who attends Lamar. Has a large projectable frame with a strong build. Starts with a square stance at the plate and a quiet load. Has good quick strong hands with a power approach and is a gap to gap hitter. Is short to the ball with bat speed, makes hard consistent contact at the plate with lift in his swing, handles inside pitches well and hit a Home Run in the games showing off his power. Is athletic at first base with good quick feet has good lateral mobility with a quick release and an accurate arm. Is a big target for his fielders to throw to. Is a very good student.
