Brandon Suarez is a 2016 SS with a 5-11 160 lb. frame from Arlington, TX who attends Grace Preparatory Academy, Inc. Medium, athletic frame with a lean, projectable build. Ran a 7.15 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop, shows quick feet to get behind the ball, athletic actions, longer release on throws, shows strength across that will continue to develop. Right-handed hitter, starts with a wide base and a high hand set. Pulls hands back at start of swing, shows a short and quick path to the ball with bat speed. Upper body swing, shows an approach at the plate, has a feel for the barrel and created consistent line drive contact.
