Stephano Major is a 2017 1B/OF with a 5-10 175 lb. frame from Miami, FL who attends La Salle HS. Major has a medium sized frame with a some present strength. Defensively he showed solid footwork around the bag at 1B with good hands. He also worked out from the outfield and he moves to the baseball well with solid outfield actions. He showed arm strength up to 76 MPH with clean transfers. At the plate, Major starts with a slightly open stance with a wide base. He has natural lift in his swing and showed the ability to drive the ball well. Major has bat speed and looks to pull and lift the baseball. He showed strength in his swing with some power potential. Excellent student.
