Zach Taylor is a 2015 RHP/OF/3B with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from Broadway, NC who attends Western Harnett HS. Medium athletic build with room to get stronger. Cross body delivery with a short stride and hard front side, quick arm in back and coming through, high 3/4's to over the top with good downhill angle, some energy at release and has deception to the hitter. Fastball to 82 mph, mostly straight with occasional cutting action, gets over front side well for delivery type and works the bottom of the zone consistently. Curveball is his best pitch, gets hard spin and sharp downer biting action at times, has confidence in his curveball. Right handed hitter with a big stride into contact, keeps his hands short to the ball and makes consistent contact, line drive swing plane, makes adjustments with the barrel.
