RJ Freure is a 2016 RHP/ with a 6-1 205 lb. frame from Burlington, ON who attends Robert Bateman. Medium frame, athletic build with present strength. Smooth, quick tempo delivery with balance throughout offerings. Showed a compact arm action at seperation while releasing from a high three-quarters are slot. Fastball has good downhill angle with some sinking action sitting in the upper 80's, topped at 91 mph. Commands the inner half of the plate well with the fastball, opening up the outer half of the plate. Curveball has 11/5 shape with good spin and depth in the upper 70's. Excellent feel for a change up that showed late cutting action in the low 80's. Consistently threw strikes with all pitches attacking and challenging hitters. Good student as well.
