Jordan Sprinkle is a 2019 SS/2B with a 5-10 155 lb. frame from Indio, CA who attends Palm Desert. Medium frame with a lean build and wiry strength. Frame projects to support additional size with strength. Ran a 7.08 sixty-yard dash. Primary shortstop with athletic actions while ranging for and surrounding the baseball. Works to each side well while ranging for the baseball. Polished glove actions while funneling the baseball out front and works through exchange well. Baseball comes out quickly from a compact three-quarters arm slot. Throws produced accurate, on line carry across the infield topping at 80 miles per hour. Right handed hitter with an upright, even stance and simple front side trigger. Created slight hand coil at load and worked to contact on a direct path. Consistently repeated a level, line drive barrel plane that produced consistent contact to the middle of the field. Stays very balanced throughout swing with the hand quickness to work to all fields. Named to the 2017 Sunshine West Showcase Top Prospect List. Good student as well.
