Alex Bagby is a 2015 1B/3B with a 6-1 220 lb. frame from Waterloo, IA who attends Don Bosco HS. Big build with lots of present strength. Right handed hitter, early drift forward into contact with a deep hand load, long swing with strength, can use lower half better to help generate bat speed and maintain balance, ball jumps off the barrel hard when squared, showed his power in batting practice, can improve consistency with adjustments in his shift to the ball. First base/Designated hitter profile defensively. Good student.
