Kyle Yang is a 2015 RHP with a 5-9 160 lb. frame from Indian Head Park, IL who attends Lyons Township HS. Slender young build, some developing present strength. Simple leg raise mechanics, good direction to the plate, clean full arm circle, high 3/4's to over the top release point, tends to drop release point a bit on his off speed pitches, good pace with acceleration to the plate, sound delivery with a loose arm and good extension. Upper 70's fastball, topped out at 79 mph, mostly straight with occasional flat arm side run, throws fastball to spots. Good spin on curveball with big depth at times. Nice changeup with arm speed and occasional big fading action. Raw stuff and command are better from the stretch. Has the pitches to mix successfully and work ahead in counts. Good student.
