2015 National Underclass Showcase-Main Event
Andrew White is a 2017 C/3B with a 6-0 205 lb. frame from Moore, OK who attends Moore HS. Large, athletic frame with broad shoulders and a strong, mature build with plenty of present strength throughout frame. Ran a 7.43 60-yard dash. Primary catcher, higher set behind the plate, sound mechanics and repeats them well, does a nice job of incorporating lower half into release, shows arm strength and carry down to second base. Righthanded hitter, upper body swing but does a nice job of covering the entire plate. Line drive swing plane with quickness to hands and is able generate bat speed through the zone. Hard line drive contact with jump off the barrel when squared, showed ability to elevate balls into the air and drive to center field. Very good student.
