Alexander Soto is a 2016 C/1B, OF with a 6-2 200 lb. frame from Miami, FL who attends John A. Ferguson. XL frame with very strong present build. Small leg lift trigger when hitting, quiet load, high hand set, quick to and through the zone with good strength off barrel at contact. Has some natural lift in swing, shows power with even more developing. Ball jumps off his barrel when squared up. Receives well behind the plate, shows strong hands and forearms. Maximum effort in all of his actions defensively, shows solid arm strength down to 2B at 70 MPH velocity and popping as low as 2.13 seconds. Good student.
