Scott Ogrin is a 2016 SS/3B, OF with a 6-0 195 lb. frame from Valencia, CA who attends Valencia. Ogrin has a good frame with a strong build. Defensively he showed good actions with good footwork on the infield. He has good hands with clean transfers. Ogrin showed arm strength up to 84 MPH and tools that project best at 3B. At the plate, Ogrin starts with a square stance and stays balanced through his swing. He showed good bat speed and has looseness to his swing. Ogrin made hard contact both in BP and in game. He pulls the ball with authority and showed good power potential. Ogrin hit the ball where it was pitched in game and showed pop to all fields. He has a good set of hitting tools the project.
