Jacob Pizzo is a 2016 RHP/1B/3B with a 6-3 195 lb. frame from Fresno, CA who attends Bullard HS. Tall low waisted build, has room to get stronger. Big leg raise delivery, stays tall over the rubber, short stride out front but gets over it well, tight 3/4's arm slot, some energy on release, has some deception to his delivery. Fastball topped out at 84 mph, mostly straight with good downhill angle, throws fastball to spots, easy to imagine him throwing harder. Hard curveball spin with sharp downer biting action. Has a feel for his change up with good cutting action on it at times. Good idea how to pitch and executes his plan well. Very good student, verbal commitment to Cal State Fullerton.
