Jake Reindl is a 2015 RHP/SS with a 6-1 175 lb. frame from Fayetteville, AR who attends Shiloh Christian HS. Slender lanky build, high waist, young look, projects well physically. Simple leg raise/turn and throw delivery, very compact arm action, very tight 3/4's arm slot, hides the ball, has a quick arm, low effort release, will occasionally drift out and open early with his front side. Mid-80's fastball, topped out at 86 mph, mostly straight. Short slider break, cutter shape and bite, rare change up. Tends to miss glove side often due to pulling open early. Improving off-speed pitches will be key to development, has more velocity in his arm and body. Right handed hitter, has hitting tools to develop, upright stance, short quick swing with present bat speed, ball comes of the barrel hard, has some lift and power potential, has strength in his swing, tends to expand zone on breaking balls but squares up fastballs hard.
