Peter Minneci is a 2019 1B/3B with a 6-0 200 lb. frame from Shoreham, NY who attends Shoreham-Wading River. Large frame with quality present build; good strength throughout as well as some projection. Ran 30 yard dash in 4.09 seconds. Sets up to hit from wide-based stance with weight shifted back to start, coils inward in load, creates a lot of separation in hands/hips, shows some bat speed and swing is highlighted by strength off the barrel when timed up. Has power, does a good job lifting the ball at contact, drove a few deep to the pull field. Worked out defensively at 1st base, fields cleanly and shows good ability to make pivot, footwork is solid on and off the bag, good accuracy on throws, clocked up to 67 MPH on throws across diamond. Very good student.
