Jayson Gonzalez is a 2017 SS/3B with a 5-11 170 lb. frame from Tampa, FL who attends Gaither HS. Medium athletic build, fairly mature, has some present strength. Right handed hitter, busy load with some early drift into contact from an open stance, swings hard with a loose extended swing, high finish with some lift in his swing plane, gets the ball into the air. 6.86 runner, moves well to the ball in the infield defensively and takes good routes to ground balls, plays aggressively on defense, has some arm strength and can get rid of the ball quickly. Good overall athlete. Good student.
