Jackson Fristoe is a 2020 RHP/1B with a 6-4 180 lb. frame from Paducah, KY who attends Paducah Tilghman. Big and and strong athletic build, lots of physical projection remaining. Short stride out front, throws against a hard front side, has energy and lots of moving pieces in his delivery but is athletic and has improved his consistency, high 3/4's arm slot with lots of downhill angle. Low 90's fastball, topped out at 94 mph, flashes hard sink and run at times. Throws both a curveball and slider with good separation between the two pitches. Curveball has big depth and bit with 11/5 shape, slider is big and slurvy but with plenty of power and depth as well. Shows potential with his change up and could become an athletic four-pitch starter if he can keep improving his ability to repeat his delivery and throw strikes. Pure stuff is top shelf and has a chance to keep improving as he gets stronger. Good student, verbal commitment to Kentucky.
