Justin Kapuscinski is a 2019 C/3B, 1B with a 6-2 220 lb. frame from Marlboro, NJ who attends Marlboro High School. Large, athletic frame with broad shoulders and advanced physicality and strength for age. Ran a 5.48 40-yard dash. Primary catcher, receives well and gains some ground with lower, will continue to refine mechanics, advanced arm strength, short through the back with a clean release, 82 mph on top throw and projects for more, good carry with accuracy to throws. Righthanded hitter, incorporates physical strength into swing very well and generates excellent bat speed with balance through swing. Shows ability to adjust to of-speed and work to the opposite field, big jump off the barrel with present gap-to-gap strength and big power potential. High level tools that will be monitored closely. Named to Northeast Indoor Top Prospect List.
