Colton Cassinelli is a 2018 C/IF with a 5-11 189 lb. frame from San Tan Valley, AZ who attends Queen Creek HS. Medium build with good lower half strength. Right handed hitter, short inside oriented swing, has quickness in his hands, hits to all fields and can drive the gaps, ball comes off the barrel hard at times, not much lift in his swing but is short and squares the ball up consistently. Gets low behind the plate and has good flexibility, has good footwork and lower half quickness, moves into his throws and makes accurate on line throws, 1.89 best pop time. Solid all around player. Verbal commitment to Washington.
