Connor Berry is a 2018 3B/IF with a 6-1 195 lb. frame from Seminole, FL who attends Seminole High School. Large, athletic frame with broad shoulders and present physical strength proportioned throughout body. Ran a 7.45 60-yard dash. Primary third baseman, shows longer strides moving to the ball and works behind it well, ball comes out of hand well from compact release point, upright on throws but accuracy across and projects for additional arm strength. Fields the ball out front at first base and moves well coming off the base, similar short and compact arm action, tighter release from ear with accuracy throws to both second and third base. Righthanded hitter, begins with a high hand set and and upright stance in the box. Leg lift trigger for timing at start of swing and tilt to barrel, gets it through the zone well with full swing path and both leverage and extension out front. Strength plays well in swing and creates nice separation at point of contact, sound bat speed with jump when squared. Very good student.
