Coy Sarsfield is a 2021 OF/MIF with a 5-8 175 lb. frame from Marion, IA who attends Linn-Mar. Recorded a 6.50 second 60 yard dash time, showcasing advanced speed. Compact and sturdy build with present strength and twitch. Primary outfielder with an aggressive approach, attacks the ball and fields it cleanly out front. Squares the ball up and gets into a good fielding position. Longer gather and release, showed a loose arm action and big time arm strength, recording throws at 92 mph. Right-handed hitter with a narrow base and bent knee stance. Low hand set with a pull side approach, high intent swinger that looks to do damage with each swing. Segmented operation at times, shows excellent bat speed and loud contact when on time and squared. Impressive showing in workouts and in game, tools were on full display. Outstanding student. Iowa commit. Named to the 2021 National Pre Draft Showcase.
