Ty Sawka is a 2016 OF with a 6-2 170 lb. frame from McKinney, TX who attends McKinney North HS. Tall and slender build, plenty of room to get stronger. 6.62 runner, athletic to the ball in the outfield, low elbow release on his throws but his raw arm strength has improved significantly and there is some good carry. Switch hitter, similar swing approach and raw bat speed from both sides, hits open with an upper half rotational swing, barrel wrap to start the swing, looks to get extended and drive the ball but not strong enough yet, has a fluid swing when he's well timed. Outstanding student.
